Day thirty

Glue

And done!  This one is a bit gross looking if I do say so myself.  It's not boogers, I promise haha.  It's just glue.  Maybe it's the green background.  This subject was worse than rice.  Glue, GLUE?!  How do you make glue look interesting?!  I think I'm to blame for sticking this on the list.  I rubbed a glue stick on paper nice and thick, then dabbed at it and it gave some slimy, boogery, texture.  Yuck.

Day twenty-nine

Paint

Another difficult subject to find the details in.  The details in paint have to be created.  Just one more day left of the month.  I have to say, this was by far the easiest challenge to do.  Having every single day's subject planned out before you start makes it a very stress free challenge. (Except for when you can't figure out what to do with that specific object!)

Day twenty-two

Nails

I often change my mind a billion times.  The one above was the second one that I decided to go with.  This one below is an alternative I guess you could say.  I like the alt. but felt it didn't really fit in with how I have been shooting through the month.  Anyway, I still like it though so you get a bonus today :)

Day eleven

A leaf from a bush out front.  Fall is approaching, some leaves are still green, some are green and red, and some are red.

Day eight

This one was tough.  I have been really trying to just focus on the details in each day's object, but rice doesn't exactly have detail.  It is one of the most boring subjects to photograph, smooth, white, semi translucent, boring, boring boring.

Day Three

I'm not happy with this one. It was frustrating me to no end because of how difficult the positioning is, pretty much having to bend my head at the most ridiculous angle and pretty much be IN the sink.  I wanted the water to be nice and in focus too, but with low lighting I couldn't close down enough for that.  Too much to do today to keep fiddling, I've spent WAY too much time on it already!

Day One

And it starts.  My 30 days will all be taken with my 10x macro lens.
